Alsace Wine Workshop - 18 September 2017

An insightful tasting looking at some of the history of Alsace and how the styles tend to be down to whether the producer is Catholic or Protestant.  We started with a superb Crèmant, then compared some AOC wines with Grand Crus and finished off with a great dessert wine.  Alsace won everyone over and we were left in no doubt as to why Alsace keeps 75% of the wines produced for themselves.
