Edinburgh Uncorked 2026 with special guest Joe Wadsack

Taste your way around the world with hundreds of wines, meet dozens of wine experts, and take part in engaging wine workshops. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned enthusiast, there’s something for everyone to discover at Edinburgh Uncorked.

We have wines from all over the world including some off the beaten track countries and regions. Joe and Diana look forward to welcoming you to this unmissable day of wine, learning, and fun—just in time for summer 2026.

You can select from two available time slots: 12-3pm or 4-7pm. Tickets are £35 which grants you the chance to taste and sample every wine featured at the event, plus some enticing offers which might tempt you to take your favorites home.

Louis Jadot - The Essence of Burgundy with Mark O’Bryen MW

Are you confused by Burgundy so you avoid it? Well, we're saving the best till last! This is a real festival highlight and a brilliant chance to dive into one of the world’s most talked-about wine regions. Master of Wine Mark O’Bryen will guide you through Burgundy with a superb line-up of approachable wines (averaging around £30), bringing it all to life with stories, insight and a selection of delicious, approachable wines - an unmissable experience and opportunity. 

Who is Joe Wadsack?

Diana’s view – Joe is one of the most loveable, funny and outspoken people in the wine industry who I’ve known for over 30 years and we’re going to have so much fun at Edinburgh Uncorked!

The Official View – Joe Wadsack is the drinks expert on BBC TV’s ‘Food and Drink: Series 3’ with host Tom Kerridge. Joe studied winemaking in Bordeaux and has since worked as a wine buyer and consultant for a number of leading supermarkets. Joe’s other roles include Richard and Judy’s wine expert on Channel 4 as well as his own series ‘Great Wine Walks’ for UKTV’s Good Food Channel.

We are thrilled Joe will be coming up to Edinburgh to join us as our special guest for Edinburgh Uncorked 2026.
