Fizz Feast Trade Preview

When did you last have the chance to taste over 75 Champagnes and sparkling wines under one roof?

As Fizz Feast celebrates its 11th year, we’re opening the festival with a special Friday evening dedicated exclusively to the trade for the first time.

Tickets are just £12, and every penny goes to The Drinks Trust, the charity supporting people working across the drinks industry. Your ticket also gives you an entry into the raffle taking place on the night, so you’ll be supporting a cause close to all our hearts while giving yourself the chance to take home a prize.

The Trade Preview Evening brings together Champagne and sparkling wine from all over the world, including some more unusual fizz from Chile, Slovakia and Ukraine. Highlights include Domaine Evremond, Taittinger’s English sparkling wine estate in Kent, and Taittinger’s celebrated Comtes de Champagne, both on taste on the night.

Held in the stunning Main Hall of Edinburgh Academy, it’s a great chance to taste your way around the hall alongside colleagues and friends from across the industry on a Friday night! Unlike many trade tastings run by regional bodies or trade associations, Fizz Feast is receiving no external funding. Wine Events Scotland is covering the cost of organising the evening so that every penny raised can go to The Drinks Trust.

Few tastings let you cover the sparkling wine category this thoroughly in a single visit. At Fizz Feast, trusted benchmarks sit alongside newcomers, and established names alongside producers you’re unlikely to have come across before. Whether you’re looking for inspiration, seeking new additions to your portfolio, keen to broaden your knowledge of sparkling wine or simply looking forward to an enjoyable evening with fellow members of the trade, the Fizz Feast Trade Preview Evening is an opportunity not to be missed and of course the ideal way to kick off the festive season.

The raffle will be drawn at 8.30pm. Winners must be present to claim their prize.
