About the event
Join fellow members of the trade for an informal evening of Rioja discovery, networking and tasting, hosted by award-winning wine writer Chris Losh. This interactive evening will provide the opportunity to build your knowledge of Rioja through a relaxed quiz and blind tasting, while enjoying a sharing-style supper and a large selection of free pour wines.
A total of 20 diverse Rioja wines will be available to taste during the evening, including two wines for blind tasting, and 18 wines available on free pour, including three unimported wines from the Discover Rioja campaign that are currently seeking UK representation.
Teams will compete for prizes, including £500 to spend on Rioja wines at a participating Rioja Wine Club retailer and a 6-bottle mixed case of Rioja wines.
Open to independent wine merchants, multiple retailers, on-trade buyers, sommeliers, wholesalers, importers and other wine trade professionals. Attendees are welcome to enter as a team with colleagues, or join individually and be matched with a team on the night.
