Sparkling Spring Wine Workshop

Join us for a sparkling evening this spring and discover just how exciting the world of fizz can be. Wine Events Scotland’s Diana Thompson will guide you through a delicious line-up of sparkling wines, from Cap Classique and Cava to Crémant and, of course, Champagne - all tasted side by side to bring the styles and quality differences to life.

Expect a lively, engaging tasting filled with stories, fun facts and fascinating snippets of history, alongside insider insights and plenty of “aha” moments, as Diana shares what to look for, what makes each style unique, and how to find your favourites with confidence.

As founder of Fizz Feast and a Champagne Academician, Diana brings a wealth of expertise, first-hand experience and a genuine passion for bubbles. Each wine has been carefully selected to showcase the diversity, character and complexity of sparkling wines - making this the perfect evening whether you’re looking to learn more or simply enjoy some fantastic fizz.

The Format

The evening begins at 6.30pm with a guided tasting lasting just over an hour, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way. Afterwards, relax with cheese and charcuterie nibbles and enjoy another glass of fizz while chatting with fellow guests before we finish at 8.30pm.

As always, with our tasting the focus is on enjoying a relaxed, fun and informal atmosphere. Come on your own or with friends - everyone is welcome, whether you’re just starting your wine journey or already a fizz fanatic.
