Sparkling Spring Wine Workshop

Join us for a sparkling evening this spring. Wine Events Scotland’s Diana Thompson will guide you on a fizz-filled journey through Spain, including a premium vintage Cava. From there, we’ll head to France to explore a white and rosé Crémant before travelling to South Africa to compare vintage and non-vintage Méthode Cap Classique.

Founder of Fizz Feast and a Champagne Academician Diana brings a wealth of knowledge, first-hand experience, and a genuine passion for bubbles. Throughout the evening she will share insights, stories, and tasting tips – alongside a lineup of stunning sparkling wines chosen to showcase the diversity and complexity behind each style.

The Format

Starting at 6.30pm, the tasting will last just over an hour with plenty of time for questions. Afterwards we’ll enjoy some cheese and charcuterie nibbles, another glass of wine and a chat before finishing at 8.30pm.

As with all our wine tastings, the aim is that it’s a relaxed, fun, informal and informative evening.  Come on your own or with a friend, whatever your interest or knowledge of wine everyone who enjoys wine is welcome.

This masterclass and tasting will be presented by Wine Events Scotland’s Diana Thompson at The Hotel du Vin in their stunning private dining and events space, the Burke & Hare Room.
