Summer Wines: A Global Tasting Adventure

Join us for a relaxed and enjoyable evening exploring some of Diana's favourite wines for summer. From sparkling and refreshing whites to rosé and red wines, you'll discover a range of delicious styles perfect for sunny days, barbecues, alfresco dining and summer gatherings.

We'll begin in South Africa with a vintage Cap Classique before travelling north to Portugal's beautiful Vinho Verde region — because no summer wine tasting is complete without Vinho Verde. From there we'll head to Western Australia, enjoy a delicious Southern French rosé, then cross to South America for a Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon before finishing in Argentina with a superb Cabernet Franc.

Along the way, Diana will share the stories behind the wines, the regions they come from and why they make such excellent summer drinking. Expect plenty of wine knowledge, a few surprises and, if previous tastings are anything to go by, the conversation may occasionally wander off-piste too!

The tasting will be presented by Diana Thompson, founder of Wine Events Scotland and an award-winning wine communicator with more than 30 years' experience in wine and hospitality.
