Bellissimo Vino Edinburgh

As part of the run-up to our fourth annual Fizz Feast on Saturday 16 November at Edinburgh Academy, we’re giving you a brief introduction to the fabulous food and fizz exhibitors lined up to tantalise taste buds and please palates.

Italian wine has a great reputation both in terms of variety and quality worldwide so we are delighted to be welcoming Bellissimo Vino Edinburgh to this year’s Fizz Feast.  This relatively new kid on the block in Edinburgh sources and imports superb still and sparkling wine from all over Italy.

An independent, family-run company, Bellissimo Vino works with award-winning wineries throughout Italy and has exclusivity for the wine labels they work with, which means none of their wine will be found anywhere else within the UK.

The company’s aim is to supply a wonderful selection of high-quality wines at competitive prices, the kind of wine you will want to return to again and again.

The selection of must-try wines at Fizz Feast will include what is described by the Bellissimo team as ‘One of the finest Proseccos on the planet’, Rive di San Michele Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry DOCG.  This comes from better quality vineyards up in the hills which have a higher classification hence it's a DOCG rather than a DOC.

Another stunning Prosecco Bellissimo will be bringing is from an award-winning Prosecco winery - the Sommariva Prosecco Extra Dry Treviso DOC. Rosé fans shouldn’t miss out on trying the Sommariva Il Rosa Vino Spumante Rosato

Extra Dry Millesimo, it's quite simply a luxurious Rosé sparkling wine. There will be luxury gift boxes and gifts available on the day, plus discounts on all wines. You can mix and match any of the products and there is no minimum bottle requirement.

The hugely knowledgable and lovely Italian Gary Cennerazzo will be ready to greet you on the Bellissimo stand at Fizz Feast, so dive in, ask for recommendations, enjoy trying something different, and find a new favourite to add a bit of Italian style to your sparkling wine choice this festive season.

There are two sessions to choose from: 12-3pm and 4-7pm, and plenty of masterclasses.
