Behind every Bruce Jack Wine lies a special story
The Moveable Feast label tells the story of the people involved in this wine, past and present. They are all part of Bruce Jack’s wider family, off on a moveable feast;

Thandi is Bruce’s mum’s old dog who was an ex bomb squad dog
Benjamin, Bruce’s youngest son is carrying the food for the feast
Robert his eldest is carrying a chair for the feast.
Penelope, Bruce’s wife carries the candles – no doubt being the light of Bruce’s life!
Isabel is Bruce Jack Wines packaging manager - of course carrying the precious bottles
Bruce follows armed with decanter and glasses.
Next is Hugh Veitch, the piper who plays a very important role piping to the wines in barrel (you should hear about this)
Bruce’s father, David Jack is next armed with more wine.
Then comes Catherine Searle, known as Jack of all Trades and essentially the office and marketing manager with her baby, Baillie - who now has two younger sisters
The guitarist is Mike Hoole, a brilliant concert guitarist and teacher, who was one of Bruce’s mother’s star pupils. Initially from Scottish Island of Tiree Visit the Isle of Tiree & Beyond Bruce’s mother Elspeth was a keen musician and sadly passed away before the 1st vintage of Moveable Feast
Then comes Titia Blake - Cape Town City Orchestra’s 1st Violinist and teacher
I’ve taken the liberty of adding my personal touch to this with some piping here Bruce Jack Moveable Feast

With this wine Bruce Jack wanted to capture the essence of his special corner of the universe, the spirit and the beauty of the place. The wine is like a painting; depicting the landscape with aromas and flavours, the grapes are the art materials. Primarily Bruce’s favourite 2 grapes – Shiraz & Malbec then Bruce has since added Touriga Nacional, Pinot Noir & Tannat. It’s a fabulous wine with ripe fruit, pepper, spice and green tannins & overall an approachable style. All Bruce Jack’s wines are superb and quality vs price is very attractive too! Bruce will be taking us on a two week virtual journey to South Africa on 18 & 25 November, it’s going to be a lot of fun & hope you’ll be tempted to join us.
