Fizz Feast Taster - Trotters Independant Condiments

As part of the run-up Fizz Feast on Saturday 19 November at Edinburgh Academy, now in its sixth year, we’re giving you a brief introduction to the fabulous feast and fizz exhibitors lined up to tantalise taste buds and please palates.

We are really pleased to welcome Trotter’s Independent Condiments back to Fizz Feast. With a unique range of seasonal condiments, there is something here for everyone to love – whether you are buying for yourself or looking for a foodie Christmas gift. Byam Trotter founded Trotter’s Independent Condiments in 2009. His parents had discovered Mostarda on holiday in Italy, and, unable to find a manufacturer in Scotland, Byam’s mum found a recipe online and made it herself. Byam took over and started manufacturing from his parents’ Fife kitchen, selling products at the local Fife farmers’ markets and farm shops. The company now produces everything from Hollandaise Sauce and Hot Pepper Jelly to Strawberry Jam and Mojito Marmalade, as well as a range of authentic curry kits. Expect to find a fabulously flavoursome collection of chutney, jellies, jam and curry kits available on the day.

Fizz Feast is on Saturday 19 November 2022 at The Edinburgh Academy, 42 Henderson Row, Edinburgh. There are two sessions to choose from: 12-3pm and 4-7pm, and plenty of masterclasses. Tickets start at £25 per person.  Click here to join us
