Fizz Feast Taster - WSET

As part of the run-up Fizz Feast on Saturday 19 November at Edinburgh Academy, now in its sixth year, we’re giving you a brief introduction to the fabulous feast and fizz exhibitors lined up to tantalise taste buds and please palates. 

This year we’re delighted to welcome regular exhibitor WSET back to the Fizz Hall again.

If you’ve ever wanted to know a bit more about spirits, wondered just what your palate could tell you, or considered whether you had a nose for wine, you’ve come to the right place. WSET, which stands for Wine and Spirit Education Trust, is the world’s leading provider of wine, spirits and sake qualifications. Founded as a charitable trust in 1969, to serve the growing educational needs of the UK wine and spirits industry. WSET has been supporting the drinks industry for more than 50 years, providing training across product knowledge and tasting skills. WSET qualifications are recognised as the international standard in wine, spirits and sake knowledge.

There are four levels of qualification, taking students through from beginner to expert, working with an extensive network of local course providers in more than 70 countries worldwide. Experts will be on hand at Fizz Feast in the main Fizz Hall to offer advice to anyone interested in either furthering their career in the drinks industry with recognised qualifications, or simply following the study programme to gain the same qualifications for pleasure. There is a wonderful world of wine out there to explore and it’s a fascinating journey to embark upon. A WSET course could be the first step.

Fizz Feast is on Saturday 19 November 2022 at The Edinburgh Academy, 42 Henderson Row, Edinburgh. There are two sessions to choose from: 12-3pm and 4-7pm, and plenty of masterclasses. Tickets start at £25 per person.  Click here to join us
