Fizz Feast came about as a way to introduce as many people to as many different styles of sparkling wine as possible, all under one roof. It is easy enough to try different still wines – much more difficult to try out sparkling wine, which can be expensive to experiment with – but Fizz Feast gives you the opportunity to do just that.Our Fizz Hall at the Edinburgh Academy on 18 November is set to welcome an effervescent line up of guests this year, with every type of sparkling wine available. If you have been to Fizz Feast before, there will be many exhibitors familiar to you, as well as several exciting new stands. Whether you are a Champagne aficionado or just like bubbles, we have every taste catered for.There are two sessions to choose from, with the same exhibitors at each. There are also several unique masterclasses during the event and every guest receives their own Riedel Champagne tasting glass (worth £15) on the day to take home.There are 15 fizz producers attending, with more than 100 wines on offer. We can guarantee you will find something new and interesting at Fizz Feast. Here are the exhibitors joining us and those who will be selling on the day (look out for some great offers) are highlighted.Champagne AyalaFounded in 1860 by Edmond de Ayala, Champagne Ayala is an independent family-owned Champagne House in Ay, which is situated in the heart of the Grands Crus. Chardonnay is Ayala’s signature grape variety. Considered a pioneer in creating low-dosage wines, Champagne Ayala has a wonderful range of fizz for you to discover.

Contadi Castaldi
If you have been to Fizz Feast before, you will be familiar with Franciacorta; if not, you’re in for a treat. A delicious Italian sparkling wine, Franciacorta is made using the same traditional, bottle-fermented, method as Champagne. Franciacorta came to public attention in the 1960s, being awarded DOC status in 1967 and DOCG status in 1995, Italy’s highest wine classification. Some of the finest Franciacorta around is produced by Contadi Castaldi.

Domain Langlois-Chateau
Crémant is a French sparkling wine that is made outside the Champagne wine region. It goes through the same methode traditionelle production process as Champagne, where the secondary fermentation occurs in the bottle. The winery has a fantastic reputation for fine sparkling wines with the Appellation Crémants de Loire; it has been part of the Bollinger family group since 1973.

Edinburgh Cider Co - Selling at Fizz Feast
Founded in 2021 by husband-and-wife team Alison and Jim Lamb, Edinburgh Cider Co produces unique, individual craft cider. The wonderful ciders are created in Edinburgh, using craft brewing techniques and are absolutely delicious both with and without food. Careful selection of apples combined with a unique fermentation process results in an original, refreshing cider, which has been hand-crafted to the highest standards.

Goldenacre Wines - Selling at Fizz Feast
Nothing short of a treasure trove, Goldenacre Wines may be tucked away in Inverleith, but its reputation for fine wines spreads far and wide. With more than 250 wines in store, this wonderful wine retailer brings a superb selection of sparkling wines to Fizz Feast. New and interesting wines are at the heart of this small business and Fizz Feast is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a wonderful sparkling wine tour.

Hatch Mansfield
Hatch Mansfield is a UK agent specialising in premium wines made by independent, family-owned, wine producers. Established in 1994 with Louis Jadot, Errazuriz and Villa Maria, and headed up by Patrick McGrath MW, Hatch Mansfield remains boldly independent. The business now represents 17 internationally acclaimed wine companies with a sublime selection of fine wine.

Lidl
Everyone is likely to be familiar with the wonderful selection of wines Lidl supplies. The supermarket has made a name for itself amongst wine lovers and continues to offer fantastic fizz at sensational prices. This will be an opportunity to taste the supermarket’s carefully curated Christmas offerings.

Sip Champagnes - Selling at Fizz Feast
Launched two years ago by Peter Crawford and Daniel Blatchford, Sip Champagnes specialises in bringing small-batch, handcrafted, Champagne straight from the grower to fizz lovers in the UK. Fife-based Peter has more than 20 years’ experience in Champagne and realised that consumers had very little access to the region’s 16,000 grape growers. Peter and Daniel work directly with growers who are committed to good practice and stock the best bottles from a select few to create an exclusive collection you won’t find anywhere else in the UK.

Taittinger Champagne
Perhaps one of the most widely recognised names in the sparkling wine world, Taittinger is one of the few Champagne Houses still owned and managed by the family name on the label. Visitors to Fizz Feast will be able to sample a variety of exquisite Champagnes. It is the perfect opportunity to compare different Champagne styles, and to ask any questions you might have about this glorious sparkling wine.

Wine Line Portugal - Selling at Fizz Feast
In recent years, Portuguese wine makers have embraced modern techniques and perfected blending skills without sacrificing home-grown grape varieties.
