Lidl Festive Wine Tour Tasting

Lidl’s Festive Wine Tour was packed full of an impressive collection of high scoring hidden gems.  We had a lot of fun checking them over the course of just one evening.  It was a great festive and amusing evening by Zoom helped by Lidl’s Chris Scott.

Everyone was asked to score the wines out of 5 and here are the results.  It’s very interesting to see how we, as the actual consumers, scored the wines vs the scores given by Lidl’s tasting panel which is expertly headed up by Richard Bampfield MW.  Interestingly, the Tokaji was the one which the least amount of people chose to taste yet it was the highest scorer.  Do try it - great value and it's superb!
